The End of Grade 1!

The end of another school year is upon us and I wanted to share the poem Ian wrote to his teacher.

If you give a teacher a picture, she’ll want some words to go with it.

Then she’ll want to show    it to the class.

When she shows it to the class all the kids will want to do show and tell.

Then the kids will want to play some soccer,

So the teacher will take them outside.

The kids will get very tired and hot so the teacher will take them for a drink.

When the kids go inside to get a drink they will see their crayons and want to make a picture.

The kids will want to show their pictures to the teacher, and she’ll want some words to go with it!
